Dr. Ana Dolores Freitas took part in XII SEMECO Caatinga on April 28, 2026, during the roundtable “The Foundation of the Semiarid: Climate and Soils”.
The researcher presented the panel “A Brief Overview of the Semiarid and the Research of the Biological Nitrogen Fixation Group (GFBN)”. Her presentation addressed the region and the group’s research, with emphasis on studies of biological nitrogen fixation.
Her participation was part of an event program that brought together researchers and professionals to discuss the characteristics, challenges and potential of Brazil’s Semiarid region.
